No way! If you took your wedding planning seriously, there is no way you can make this mistake. I made my invites (they were pretty bada$$ and ended up being pretty expensive) anyway... I read it about 50 times to make sure I got the address and the time right.
How did you not notice that? Even if the address did get printed wrong, you must have noticed afterwards. I got married last year and made my own invites - even if I'd printed the address wrong, I would have noticed when putting the invitations together, or when discussing the location with guests, or when re-reading the invites as I put them in their envelopes. I'm also sure your family and bridesmaids/groomsmen would have noticed; THEY, at least, would have known the real address (unless you don't tell your bridal party or family ANYTHING) and when they received their invitations they would have noticed the address was wrong. This is either fake, or a massively stupid FML in which case I wouldn't say YDI coz nobody deserves that, but I would say your fault.
That really sucks and I'm sorry to hear that, but YDI for not checking the ******* invitations after they were printed out. Seriously, who does that? You always double check every detail to the most important day of your life. I can only imagine that when the next most important day of your life comes up (having kids), you don't read the correct bracelet on the kid's wrist and take the wrong one out of the hospital. (Of course I know that the doctors would hand you your own child and not do this, but I'm being cynical/sarcastic.)
FML is just full of FAKE stories. FML used to be cool, now it's just people making up stories and annoying trolls posting first all the time. Back to the OP: FAKE. As if you didn't PROOF READ the invitations. What are you, an idiot?
Holy fake, come on people!!!
Yeah this smells like a fake one. For the reasons everyone else said, but what was really on my mind is...who sets their wedding date for a thursday???

you should have proofread, ydi
Surely you could have phoned someone, postpone it until everyone got there.. and then do the service? How bad of a typo could it have been? And how did you not discuss your venue with your friends and family? It would have come up in conversation if you were talking about your venue and they thought it was somewhere else. I find it hard to believe that no-one noticed.
