The exact same thing happened to my mom. It made her realize what an asshole that guy was and she left him. Then she met my dad. They've been married for 30 years now & people are always telling my mom how lucky she is to have a husband like my dad. Don't worry, OP. You'll find someone better. :)

Forgetting about your own wedding is not really comparable to, say, forgetting where you left your car keys or something like that. Getting married to the person you supposedly want to spend the rest of your life with isn't something that should just slip your mind.

Aww thats sad I'm still hoping he had a good excuse like he partied to much the previous night or had a similar experience like the movie " hangover". Anyway if not just move on you'll find a better person.

It may not feel good today, but you'll realize one day that you really dodged a bullet today. Being legally and financially bound to such a cowardly asshole would have dragged your life down. Of course, being humiliated in front of your family and friends can't be fun, but at least you probably lined up several weeks' worth of pity *****. That's got to be a plus!
