Today, my 5 month old son decided that my lip ring was a toy. Thinking it would be ok, I let him touch it. He got his finger caught and pulled his hand back. The lip ring is still in, but now I have a huge gaping hole in my face. FML

i'm sorry for you :( that was a lousy thing to have happen, i hope your lip heals soon.

Sorry hon, but you kind of deserved it. My six month old pulls my glasses off every chance he gets. I wouldn't let him near anything that was supposed to stay attached!

Growing up would probably be a good idea at this point, don't you think?

That's why you don't wear jewelry around infants. When my cousin was a baby, she grabbed one of her mom's favorite dangly earrings and ripped it straight through the earlobe. Babies like things they can grab.

Oh look, it's trailer trash mamma! Just a hint: By the age you become a mommy, you're supposed to know that it's "and", "have", "never" etc, not "n", "hav" and "gettn". People like you shouldn't procreate.

Thats why I have a post xD And I'd never let a kid touch it, but I can understand the reasoning behind it

touch the lip ring is one thing, putting his finger thru it is another...how I'm the hell did you not feel that? ditch the dumb ass lip ring, YDI
