at least she has some Christmas spirit...unlike SOMMMMEEEONNNNE....
Random, but I love your pic.
Hopefully she's just discovered it on the computer and is really cheap; you only get 40 hours free per month. At least you have a new reason to get out more.
Don't be such a Scrooge.
agreed. too many people think of the negative aspects of christmas like shopping, busy and religion. people should start remember it's all about family, smiling and dancing. oh and egg nog. can not forget the egg nog.
#103 Yup! Exactly. OP should look on the bright side...At least it's Christmas and not something like Justin Bieber. And people obviously took my above comment too seriously, judging by the multiple thumbs down. :P Lighten up, kiddos!
I love Christmas because of the snow, the shopping, the hot cocoa, the snowball fights, the sledding, and the family bonding above all. I just despise the music. O_o I don't know if it was the same for everyone else, but I can remember when the band, Hinder, released their hit "Lips of an Angel." The radio stations played the song at least five times every hour over the course of six months. I still can't listen to that song without twitching. I think that's what everyone has trouble with. Christmas just isn't original anymore. :/
#123 I suppose that everyone's different...Some people hate it, some people love it! Personally, I love Christmas music-- all except for the songs from "The Nutcracker." I was in The Nutcracker ballet for 8 years, and to this day it's still a little painful to listen to the music.
More like get it all off your chest.
LMAO @ #19! The first one was funnier but that was my favourite line from the second.
ummm sorry but what's Pandora... I feel really outta it... is op talking about jewelry or something :s
Pandora is a personalized internet radio service that lets you choose the artists and songs that you want to hear and the service responds by playing selections that are musically similar to create the "perfect playlist". As far as I know, it is only available in the United States. Not to be confused with Pandora's box, Avatar's Pandora, or the book by Anne Rice.
No, thank you. I'm not a fan of regifting.
u need to know that ur comments are by far my favorite ones to read ... sometimes I specifically look for them if I'm really bored... lol :D
yes. pandora is jewelry. poster is whining about having to listen to jewelry. never heard of google?
i love christmas music! but it does get annoying after awile. time to get out a chainsaw...;)
What makes you think she is going to stop listening to Christmas music once Christmas is over? Lots of people listen to Christmas music all year round. You seem like a good, little girl -- what would you like Santa to bring you? The number of the Suicide Prevention Hotline or a shotgun and the number of a good defense attorney? (There's an excellent one who got off a serial killer driven insane by too many listenings of "Grandma Got Run Over by a Reindeer.")
I am deeply shocked you didn't take the opportunity to ask the OP to sit on Santa's lap.
32- On the dark side. I wouldn't allow my kids sit on an mans lap. Because those rapist, and sex offenders is increasing these days. Unless the Santa was a lady.
Your statement bemuses me.
53- Bemuses, as in cofused you. Or just lost you? Cofused- What does a male's body do when they get "turned on"? Lost- Well pardon me for losing you.
What I'm saying is it's wrong to assume that a man working as a mall Santa is going to be sexually attracted to small children. Yes, pedophiles do exist, but that doesn't mean you're going to run into one. It's also wrong to assume only a man would be a "rapist, sex offender", when a fair amount happen to be women. If you don't want your children to sit on a stranger's lap, by all means, that's perfectly fine and acceptable, but your reasoning is a bit extreme.
Extreme, but better than sorry. Correct?
I suppose, but if you live under the expectation that everyone is a villain and everything will have an extremely negative outcome, you and your children will miss out on a lot of things in life. There will always be the danger of something bad happening, but every day people still drive their cars cars, walk across the street, and meet new people, among millions of other things. You can't anticipate everything, even when you have the best intentions in mind.
I'm only mainly "extreme" when it comes to penopline, sex offenders, and rapist- related. Perhaps, you should ask what I'm extreme on, before you judge a person's childrens entire life.
Cool your jets. If you're really that concerned, you should know that sexual offenders are more likely to be relatives or acquaintances of their victim than strangers. I'd be more worried about the type of people my children interact with on a usual basis than someone I'd see for fewer than five minutes at the mall, especially when I'd be giving said person with my child my full attention.
I love it when rbg gets serious. You could do yourself and your kids some good if you think about what she said.
FYLdeep.. No, just a general conversation. Doesn't mean I have kids, as well I Should've added a define of how long in my "wouldn't".
I see... in that case I suggest u get earplugs ... or soundproof your room ... better than whining about it :)
