As an older woman with an adult son, without knowing ages and the circumstances, it's hard to know which way to lean. I mean, are they both consenting adults? Was it a one off, a dare, or do they genuinely have feelings for each other? Maybe it's been going on a while? A lot of younger men do go for older women - but having said that, in same circumstance I would have serious concerns about the mother getting involved with her son's friend. It's almost as bad as sleeping with her daughter's boyfriend or ex boyfriend. And if it was a one-off, even worse. Why risk the hurt and awkwardness just for a poorly chosen one night stand? There is going to be a LOT of fallout and I'd like to hear the follow-up.
