Sometimes people say stupid stuff they don't mean. Keep an eye on this one. If she says anything else that hurts you like that, make sure you let her know. She may just be one clueless dork. (she may actually like you for you - and just not realize that what she's saying hurts you; and she may actually not be any better looking than you. - beauty is in the eye of the beholder - and definitely, inside as well as outside. Someone who disregards other people's feelings like this, is pretty ugly inside.) If she keeps treating you like that, then the pain and abuse ends when YOU end it, and end the friendship. You deserve to be treated like a human being, and only YOU can ensure that happens.

Any girl with an ounce of empathy knows that you just don't say stuff like that to a friend, period. Unless she's got a *really* good reason to be acting irrational and dramatic-- ie she's mourning the death of her twin sister, she ran out of her Haldol, or the OP slept with her boyfriend, father, AND mother-- I'm guessing the truth came out here and OP should split.

I always feel like I pick the pretty girls to be my friends then every guy I liked or dated always had a crush on them at one point or another... even my hubby, right before we started dating had a crush on my bff but none of my friends will say it they all tell me that it's nit true cuz they say I'm just as pretty lol
