Sue...That is illegal if you can prove she isn't qualified for the job and why he fired you was not a reason.
You should talk to a lawyer. Even if it's an at will state, there are still conditions that are needed for someone to be fired. He cannot legally do what he did
Hopefully once he sees she can't do the job, they'll hire you back (but ask for a raise if they do!)
And, more important, the original manager's prompt termination.
I would definitely speak to an attorney, most of them do a free consultation to see if you even have a case.
With any luck she'll find out how the position became available, realize that he's a giant d-bag, dump his ass and quit on the spot, leaving him short-handed and crippled. *fingers crossed*
oh wow sorry OP hope it wasnt something you went to college for
OP that is unlawful termination. If you have never been through any disciplinary proceedings or never had any formal discussions then you can take the company to tribunal. OP please tell me the reason he gave you for termination of your employment
That's illegal lol
Your boss is so stupid and he will realize that pretty soon!!!

Neat, an FML that makes me sick to my stomach with no detailed imagery of something gross.
Sorry you ever wasted any time working for that man, OP. :(
