Today, my boyfriend and I had a fight about his parents. We're both 23-year-old university students who aren't allowed in his bedroom unless the door is completely open. Nothing he says to his parents will change this. FML

Today, I got permission from my parents for my boyfriend to stay over. Things got intimate, and I tried my hardest not to make too much noise. However, while having a post-sex cuddle, we heard my parents in the next room muttering about my "faking". FML

Today, I told my girlfriend that her mom doesn't give us any privacy when we're at their place. I suggested that we go to my place for a change, and she agreed. Her mom called my house three times to see what we were doing. We're well beyond teenagers. FML

YDI. Their house, their rules, and you being there at 1AM is probably disrupting their sleep schedule when they need to get up and go to work the next morning. Learn some respect for the people who let you visit their homes - it's not just your boyfriend's house.

Maybe they have a "no company after 10pm" policy...I know lots of people (& landlords) who don't allow guests past 10pm...just have to be compliant & gracious to the boss of the house..sounds like momma's big boy needs to grow up & get his own place...btw, do you live with your parents too & thats why you didn't study @ your place?

why is your 22 yr old boyfriend still living with his folks...and at 24 you should least have a place you guess can "Study" without parental supervision
