hmm, maybe he was saying that he isn't as nervous now that he knows you better, or he meant talking to attractive girls for the first time unnerves him. either way, he's probably not saying youre ugly, imo

I don't think he's your boyfriend if it's only your second date. I have two older brothers, so I know how these things work, and unless you're both really desperate I doubt you two would rush into a relationship like that. It kind of goes: 1.) You get to know each other and become friends. 2.) You start having feelings for each other and flirting with each other. 3.) You start dating, and after about a month or so of regular dating, then you're boyfriend and girlfriend. 4.) Engagement/Moving In Together/Marriage/Kids/Etc.
