Today, my boyfriend did the washing as an attempt to help me. Not only are all my clothes now pink, he refuses to do the dishes, vacuuming, bathroom, ironing etc., as he has done "plenty." FML

Today, my boyfriend set up a very romantic dinner. Afterwards, he offered to wash the dishes while I went upstairs and relaxed. His way of washing the dishes was to scrape all the food off, then wipe the juices off the dishes with a paper towel before putting them back in the cupboards. FML

I've learned my lesson with my clothes turning pink. Even "blue" 'cause some new dark blue jeans bleed also. I now keep those items separate from the others in the hamper. As far as your boyfriend being lazy?? It gets worse in time, unless you find a sweeter way to let him know how important a clean house means to you without nagging him. (:

Exactly, with the 'only gets worse'. My wife does all the laundry, but I vacuum, keep the kitchen clean, do the dishes, sort my own clothes into the appropriate hampers (we have one for dark, one for light). OP's boyfriend is either lazy or wasn't raised right.
