This really doesn't seem like that big of a deal. All you had to do was call one of your friends and ask for a ride to go pick up your car.
Your dumping him for not coming home one night? He's a grown ass man. This is such a stupid reason to dump someone.
I don't know if you read that right the first time but it does say, "My boyfriend didn't come home from a night of drinking AGAIN". So this has obviously been done before many times, where her boyfriend goes out and gets drunk and crashes at a friend's place. So she does have a legitimate reason to dump her boyfriend, cause god only knows what he does when he's "out with his friends" getting drunk. Not only that but he fails to call home to let his girlfriend know, whom he is living with, which means he should be more responsible. To all the people who said, don't hate because he's being responsible, well yes that's responsible if he does it once, but going out and getting completely drunk often and not calling home to let the girlfriend know what's up is very irresponsible behavior.
you sound like a bitch
How can you all assume that she's a controlling bitch? You can't just do whatever the hell you want in a relationship; there has to be compromise. If he wants to party and drink and spend every night away from home, why does he have a girlfriend? It's obvious that this isn't the same as just "hanging with the boys."
Oh yeah, because the only important thing in life is going out and partying, I would be sooo jealous
i would have to guess that if he drove himself to the bar, it was probably expected that he wasn't supposed to get so shitfaced he couldn't get himself home. responsible people have the DD pick them up if they're planning on getting obliterated. i doubt the OP would have let him borrow her car knowing he was going to get too drunk to drive it back home again. also, he doesn't come home at night (repeatedly) and doesn't even have the decency to call home and at least let her know where he is? i would have been worried sick.
Maybe just maybe she doesn't find that fun or she doesn't drink, know I don't find the bar scene fun, I'd rather stay home and watch movies or play video games but then again I'm not the relationship type
Looks like you ain't goin nowhere haha
So thanks so much for enlightening us

ooooh bummer. kinda wrecks the oomph factor but at least now he has to watch you leave =)
