I played Wow for about two years and finally broke free of it. It's funny that when you hear two people talk about the game and quitting, you can replace Wow with "crack" and it still makes sense. For example, "I quit Wow two months ago and whenever someone mentions it, I still get a little sad and anxious."

I played WoW, 2 years. I quit a while back. Now, I have a girlfriend, who said she wouldn't mind if I'd play WoW again. As long as it doesn't cut in on the time she get's my attention, I told her that's where it will probably go wrong. I vowed to myself (more than once) to never ever play that game again. I am now clean for over 1½ years. Applause please!! P.S.: I was damn good at it!

You know, I never thought I would stick up for playing WoW, and it -is- addictive, but seriously - this is a prime example of why gamers need to date other gamers. SHYNADOLLX, I feel truly awful for your boyfriend and your sister's ex, (and not just because you don't know how to work the caps lock key). I guess in general, people with conflicting interests shouldn't date, if one of them reacts as you are. You live together, and you're condemning something he loves to do. Beyond that, you knew before you moved in with him that he loved it. I bet if you offered to make a character and play with him, you would have something to talk about, -and- he would be thrilled. Why are you together, if you can't accept him for who he is?

lvl 80 blood elf mage LFM ICC... pst for invite Everglo-Shadowsong ;) also, my bf played wow when we got together... i started out hateing it but i actually tried it and found out that, even though, that sorta thing wasnt my thing, i actually loved it... i have now been playing together for over 2 years and have a blast!... if u cant beat em, join em!
