Today, my boyfriend gave me a $100 gift card for Victoria's Secret. Suspicious, I checked the receipt he'd left in the bag. Turns out he had bought it during the 2 weeks we were broken up for some other girl who rejected him, so decided to give it to me instead. FML

Why the **** does it matter why he gave her the card. I have been given presents that I have no use for and have given them to someone who will use them. I have even purchased a gift for someone, then decided that it would be better suited for someone else. I would be damn happy with a $100 gift card, no matter who he originally bought it for. He isn't trying to propose with a ring he meant to give to another girl or giving her used things. Yea, its not classy, but unless he gives her herpes or murdered someone, what he did when they were no longer a couple no matter the time limit is none of her business really. The girl he tried to get with--if that is even the case and Op is not inferring this-- turned him down and didn't take the card (which is impressive, cause hey free underwear). He could have given it to someone else, but he thought you might like it. Enjoy the gift. Or break up with the guy. God girls piss me off.
