Today, when my new boyfriend told me he liked playing games, he meant a 60" TV with a professional gaming chair in the middle of his living room, and 48-hour gaming marathons where he totally ignores me, refuses to sleep or shower, and only has energy drinks and cheerios. FML

If the boyfriend views her as his "non-permanent significant other" than he clearly doesn't have to "put up with this". She, however, may have been viewing him as being a potentially permanent part of her life and viewed this as the next step towards that. Also him moving in with her has the potential to save him money and possibly time if they do a lot of driving back and forth to see each other. It seems to me that you may be the one who needs to "Grow up" based on your response to this FML.

Well, think about it. If he lives alone he can make his own gaming man-cave just how he likes it, order his own pizza that he won't have to share, and not have anyone to tell him to clean up after himself. Doesn't necessarily mean he doesn't love you, he probably just wants the freedom of his own space right now.
