Hopefully he just meant you had some of her qualities; nurturing, sweet, funny, I think those of us that have an awesome relationship with and admire their parents, want a future spouse with their qualities. I admire my dad's integrity, honesty, and many other qualities, all which I look for in a guy. I think maybe your boyfriend needs to word this a bit better though and maybe not say it while you're cuddling!
