well I guess, he wouldn't ever disrespect you.. and I think every girl needs a boy who respects her
you should see the way some people treat their mothers, not always good
very true. just in my own personal experience of dating guys, if they treated their mothers good, they usually treated me the same.
Is your boyfriend's name Oedipus?
.
Hopefully he just meant you had some of her qualities; nurturing, sweet, funny, I think those of us that have an awesome relationship with and admire their parents, want a future spouse with their qualities. I admire my dad's integrity, honesty, and many other qualities, all which I look for in a guy. I think maybe your boyfriend needs to word this a bit better though and maybe not say it while you're cuddling!
now dont tell us that he was talking about his childhood breast feed stories... run OP run..
Ew. And...uhmmm...gross. Can't even find a reasonable positive spin to put on that. Sorry.
I agree with #1.
Lay your head in is lap and say he's like your father. Then he'll understand how terrible his statement was.
I think that 99% of men would take this as a compliment.

Well I've heard that studies say people try to date those who resemble thier parents in a way.. So uh congrats?
