What a coward. I had this happen once, at midnight as it became my birthday. He dumped me and then blocked me so that I couldn't even call him a coward. So sorry this happened, OP. I hope your healing process doesn't take too long and hopefully you feel like you've dodged a bullet sooner rather than later. Three years is hard to get over. My thoughts are with you.

Just because he's a coward and did a huge douchebag move doesn't mean he's a douchebag. There's a plethora of reasons why he could've done it, none are acceptable of course, but reasons nonetheless.

We all **** shit up, intentionally or otherwise, but if you continue to exhibit douchebaggery on a regular basis and never learn from your ****-ups, then you are a bona fide douchebag, stamped and sealed. No but you can begin to try. I think what people are saying is that, if he's willing to do something as cowardly as this, OP shouldn't give him a second thought and should just cut him out of her life from now on. And I agree
