You're an awful babysitter to whine to the kid you're supposed to be watching. I know it's a harsh way to break up, but kids are honest, and often try to find themselves out of a conversations like this. Maybe you should take the time you now have because you're not spending it with your bf, and hit the gym. Your body will look better, and you will feel better too. (Especially when someone better asks you out.)

YDI, i could never date or be with someone who started out in good shape (notice i used SHAPE and NOT SKINNY) and lost it along the way. Sounds cold but its really not and here's why. I couldn't do it because that would mean that they do not care enough about their health and well being to do something about it. Hopefully, that would be it but if they let their health go, what else are they going to let go? I am not a huge fan of skinny women but I am a huge fan of women who are in shape and take care of themselves.

YDI because you let yourself go. You strayed from what he considers attractive, and that rests with you. I mean, its not like your boyfriend pinned you to a wall and shoved cake down your throat, so you have no one to blame but you.

I have to say I find it hard to believe that he broke up with you there and then without mentioning it beforehand, unless that wasn't the only reason

yes 53 they are I am constantly reminded by a 6 year old I know that I have a big nose, oh well
