Today, my boyfriend picked me up to come spend the night at his house, and on the way he started pulling over to get some condoms. I told him no need, I was on my period. He turned the car around and took me home. FML

For those saying she can still get pregnant whilst on her period, I think she was saying that she didn't want sex due to being on her period, not that menstruating prevents pregnancy. Also, if she doesn't want to have sex at this time of the month, that's her decision, sheesh. And your boyfriend sounds like a bit of an arse. :(

Your boyfriend is a total asshole. Sounds like that's all he cares about in your relationship is having sex. In that case, dump him. He's a shallow pig who should have his nuts chopped off. Seriously, just because you're on your period he doesn't want to spend time with you? That makes me sick. And I don't know why anyone would say you deserve this.

He should have just kept track of her period cycle better. That way he would have known not to plan a "romantic getaway" with his girl while she was on her period. Also, his girl is kind of a douche for not letting him know before getting in the car. Everyone knows what you expect to do while on a romantic vacation. He just did what the rest of us guys would like to do in that situation. I say good for him for having the balls to do it.

the romantic getaway was just part of the illustration, not the actual FML which is below the page. Even so what if it was the only time they had for a getaway? They could just not have sex. Maybe if OP was feeling generous she could blow him or something without a sexual favor in return until after period

she didn't want condoms because she didn't want to have sex while on her period. If she thought her period negated the use of condoms they would have had sex and he wouldn't have kicked her out. And don't go thinking sex on a period makes it impossible to get pregnant, that is not true, if you don't want kids, always use birth control AND condoms
