Today, my boyfriend picked me up to come spend the night at his house, and on the way he started pulling over to get some condoms. I told him no need, I was on my period. He turned the car around and took me home. FML

For those saying she can still get pregnant whilst on her period, I think she was saying that she didn't want sex due to being on her period, not that menstruating prevents pregnancy. Also, if she doesn't want to have sex at this time of the month, that's her decision, sheesh. And your boyfriend sounds like a bit of an arse. :(

Your boyfriend is an arse for acting this way. However, you still did it to yourself. There is absolutely nothing wrong with having sex during period and even if prefer not to, there's always oral and anal sex (in which case you'd still need condoms). Also, if your boyfriend only cares about sex, it's your own fault for being in a relationship with him (presumably you are interested in more than sex)...

Wow, way to be an asshole. Just finding any way to blame it on the girl in the equation, aren't you? Why is that? How about blaming it on the guy for being a douche who doesn't care about the girl he's dating, and just uses her? HE'S the one causing this. How was she supposed to know this about him? you should use condoms for oral as well. you can get STDs through oral. and yes, her boyfriend is an ass. and people she's implying that she's not planning to have sex while on her period. and what's wrong with spending the night without having sex? my boyfriend and i have those nights as well when we just want to be in each other's company.. geez.. not everything is about sex. assholes. i mean the boyfriend would still want me to spend the night even though he knows i'm on my period. so OP, i reallly hope you dumped him. he's clearly a douche. honestly, this makes me appreciate my boyfriend so much more... you need to find a guy like mine... every girl deserves it.
