Today, my boyfriend's father suggested that, ideally, I should aim to have my baby in early July, or wait until he gets back from Europe in October. I'm due September 4th, and he will be "incredibly disappointed" if he misses the birth of his first grandchild due to my "selfishness". FML

Tell him you're disappointed that his gigolo son still hasn't popped the question even after knocking you up. I'll bet the old bastard will stop taking his petty annoyances to you anymore.

Technically it wouldn't be you who was selffish it would be the baby, so he might want to rethink his disappointment and stop being such a negative grampie.

Babies don't control when they're born...

Meh, ten months in my mom i said "f this, im out"

I deffinately think you should wait untill hes back. Just imagine how happy that would make him the look on his face would be a look of true happiness and what kind of person would you be to take that away from him? imagine having to look at yourself in the mirror after making such a selfish mistake or looking at him and that dissappointed look in his eye i say naye! I know its not gonna be easy but in the "long term" it will make you a well "rounded" individual who is "bigger" than life itself! and your man will stand proud and say "here is my woman bold and strong! And i know it was a pain in the back but she never popped under pressure! She has restraint!" And things are gonna come out just fine you'll have a beautiful newborn one month old that was worth all those countless hours of kegels! And then u will have earned everyones respect! :.) make us proud!

Do you even ******* understand how a pregnancy works? Good god. The baby comes out when IT'S good and ready. The mother can't will it to come out on another date if she's not ready for the first one.

U actually thought i was serious? Haha was i that convincing?

Well, you posted a long comment AND you sounded convincing, and there was no,indication of joking or sarcasm. So YES, you were that convincimg

It was kind of like me doing my own parody of someone that would actually tell her to do that haha not serious at all

62- Lol, honestly at first, I thought you were some delusional twit, but I caught on half way through. ;) Pretty convincing skit.

There are honestly too many of those dimwitted twits on here, so yes, your convincing schpeel seemed serious.

Shove a cork in there. Or, better yet, have the baby anyway, then, before he comes back, shove 'em back up there and repeat the process. Seems legit, doesn't it?

That's my birthday! This kid will grow up to be great

He's being selfish! How can he ask you to have your baby at a certain time? It's not your fault or your choice.

did you guys plan to have the baby or did you just get pregnant?
