Today, it was my one year anniversary with my boyfriend. We had dinner reservations to an expensive restaurant and planned to see a movie after. At least, we did, until he called to tell me he'd volunteered to work tonight. He won't get off until 2am. FML

i took my then girlfriend to a strip club on our 3rd date, we are extremely happily married now, so don't diss the strip club, unless the strippers were that bad..

I'm relatively certain that over the past year your boyfriend has been a total douche. Try going out with someone who isn't as attractive physically, but actually likes you. I guarantee you will be a much happier person.
