Today, my boyfriend took me to his grandfather's funeral. At the reception, his family members insist on hearing me play piano. After getting positive reactions, I dive into one of my favorites, Rustle of Spring. In 2 seconds everyone bursts into tears. That was Papa's favorite too. FML

If I was his family, I probably would have been touched. So don't feel too bad!

Don't feel bad, I'm sure they will appreciate it a little later. It's okay.

geez. I played guitar at my great gpa's funeral. and made sure I DID NOT play one of his fave songs. be careful next timee

that's not an FML, they probably liked that they could hear his favourite music. it would have been touching

yea how the hell is this an FML, its a GOOD thing, keep his memory alive

It's a FUNERAL. You're SUPPOSED to celebrate their life with all the things that they loved.

That's not a bad thing at all. I'm sure they all appreciated it.
