FYL for bringing back fond memories of the families recent loss. How on earth is this on fml when she actually did something kind for the family. In fact you should be very grateful that the song you chose just happened to be the grandfather's favorite. Imagine how much his family likes you now.
That's not really an FML... it's beautiful, actually.
Such a stupid "FML"
least you were invited. mine didnt even tell me his grandpa had died, i found out through his friend. fml
honestly thats kind of cool. because in no way would you have known that it was his favorite but yet you play it at his funeral i agree with # 4 its poetic. I'm sure if he was a ghost at his own funeral standing in the reception he would've been smiling at that point. like in some weird hollywood movie
Heaven forbid anyone actually feel anything at a funeral. It's like you were meant to be there, look at it like that. You probably did them good. It's something you and they will remember forever.
#1 - that's exactly what I'm thinking. You were at a man's funeral and played his favorite song. That just makes me tear up because I think that's beautiful... it's ok that they cried... it's a funeral. they're probaby thinking the same thing i was... "His favorite song? How did he know? Oh that's so beautiful *cry cry*".... to me it sounds like you made it even more special for his family
So? That's kind, and probably brought back great memories.
that sucks!

If I was his family, I probably would have been touched. So don't feel too bad!
Don't feel bad, I'm sure they will appreciate it a little later. It's okay.
