Today, my boyfriend tried to be romantic by dipping me backwards and kissing me. He dropped me on my butt and stepped on my hand while trying to help me up. FML

"Today, my boyfriend attempted to be extremely romantic. He accidently did a nervous blunder, twice, which we'll be sure to laugh about later on." This is not a FML, you're being a whiny bitch.

I'm going to have to say **** your BOYFRIENDS life for dating you. You don't appreciate the fact that he was trying to be romantic because he made a mistake. Now go ahead and ask the question "Why aren't guys romantic now-a-days?".

Today, I thought I'd make an overblown romantic gesture to my girlfriend, who's been a massive bitch recently. As I dipped her backwards, her cankles tripped her up and as I tried to help her up, her bingo wings crushed her hands. And she's blaming me. FML.

I wish that a) I had a boyfriend and b) that he would be so romantic with me. So...please. shut up.

OH GOSH NO! I'm so sorry that's so, so horrible, I have no words for this! Geez, your life is seriously f*cked! Does anyone detect my sarcasm?

ROFL!!! Thanks for a good laugh, LollyPop1. OP, your life is sad indeed if you have no bigger problems in life than that.

It's an accident. They happen. Be thankful that you have a boyfriend who tries to be romantic, most of us guys lost that gene somewhere in the past 60-70 years.

YOU guys are being extremely mean. probably because your boyfriend has never tried to do any thing at all romantic. my boyfriend has dipped me and dropped my because he saw his cat. so being dropped does suck

yeah it sucks, trust me i'm a ballroom dancer, i know, but it isn't really an FML, most girls, when it happens, just laugh it off, cause we know that it was an accident and we don't want the guy to feel bad cause he didn't mean for it to happen, and when it happens while dancing, it's usually our fault for not holding ourselves up in the first place

Maybe it did suck to get dropped, but how much do you think it sucked for him to know that he messed it up when he tried to do something sweet? I think you are missing everyone's point, it is honestly worse for him than it is for her, she should be happy that she has someone willing to do romantic things for her. Do you know how rare that is? When I do nice stuff for my girl I almost always have her friend's telling me how sweet it was and how they wish their boyfriends did stuff for them. Or if I do something like pull her chair out for her when eating out or open up her car door I get strangers telling me what a nice gentleman I am. These are common kind things that men have done for women for centuries, but it's so rare now that people are genuinely shocked that a young man does them. Appreciate what you have and start caring more about your boyfriend's feelings. A bruised ego hurts more than a bruised ass any day.

boo hoo... your boyfriend is romantic. I'd kill to have mine even try to do something like that, lol
