Today, my boyfriend was continuously telling me how great my best friend smelled the other night and how I should wear some perfume that smelled like that. I have the same exact perfume and have been wearing it for months. FML

Perfume can smell different on different people... Don't worry, unless he starts flirting with your friend or trying to hook up with her.

Regardless of whether it smelled different on her or not he's still a bad boyfriend and an asshole for emphasizing how "sexy" your best friend smelled. Jeeze what happened to respect? There's more tactful ways to tell you he liked it.

Different chemicals in perfumes will react differently with the chemicals and bacteria on your skin and each person's smell is unique. Find something that reacts really well with your skin's chemicals that your boyfriend loves and then he might have a hard time controlling himself. Best of luck.

You're boyfriend sound's like he's into really sexual relationships . . . who cares if you smell like cheap perfume or natural . . . unless you're trying to set the mood. What kind of boyfriend would tell you they think your bestfriend is sexy? Dump him.

#2 is completely right. Sucks that he was smelling your bff, though... Try something else. What I like to do is take the guy to the mall and try on different perfumes and just ask him what he likes and what he thinks smells sexy. Remember to let it settle a little bit, perfume changes on you as you wear it. D&G Light Blue smells horrific on me. I also can't wear ANYTHING Chanel. You've got to try on, try on and find out what smells good on you.
