Well that wasn't very nice of your boyfriend OP. I know plenty of girls who look fine without makeup, myself not included. But you should go on and do what makes you comfortable! Don't listen to him.

Maybe he simply means that you should make more of an effort for nights out and stuff? However if he thinks that generally, then he's not with you for your looks, which isn't necessarily a bad thing.

OP, some guys actually prefer girls who don't wear a ton of make-up or spend tons of time doing their hair. If your boyfriend doesn't like you for who you are, there are other guys out there who probably will appreciate you.

I don't understand those girls who take forever getting ready. If you're going somewhere fancy, it takes 10 minutes to throw on a dress and run a comb through your hair. Anything further is just unnecessary.
