Today, my brother and I were going to give our parents their anniversary gift which cost us over $3000. The gift was a trip to London in August to see a show on Michael Jackson's comeback tour. FML

Today, I got a call from my parents that they have decided to get a divorce. My brothers and I just shelled out $5,000 each and spent months planning their 50th Anniversary party that was supposed to be next month. FML

Today, I was going to surprise my boyfriend at his family birthday celebration with a $2,000 trip he's always wanted, Ireland. Right before my gift, he had opened his mother's gift, an envelope containing a plane ticket. Guess where it was going? FML

Today, after planning 4 months in advance and spending almost $600 to cover everyone's tickets to the event center, all of my siblings decided to bail on my 30th birthday celebration because driving 3 hours is too much. FML

Today, I told my parents that all I wanted for my 18th birthday was to go to a restaurant in NYC for a nice dinner. My parents said no, because it would cost too much money. I came home to see my parents had bought a huge TV for $800. We already have 3 televisions. FML

Today, my son surprised me on my birthday with tickets to a concert I really wanted to see. I was excited, especially since I planned to buy them but couldn't due to the fact it was too expensive. I was ecstatic, until I found out he'd stolen my credit card to buy them. FML

Can you people have just a tiny bit of respect for him? I heard that the little boy who said he was molested just confessed the entire thing was a lie and he just wanted money. So don't hold that against Michael. He was an amazing musician and an even more amazing dancer. I saw a clip of a dance rehearsal for his upsoming tour and it was going to be amazing. He was really excited for that tour and he thought it could bring him back from all the rumors and bad reputation he had gotten.

Repeating this for you number 254 and others until it finally sinks in for the hurtful people here. When you guys stop, I will stop. The man just DIED people. Show some respect for his mother at least; she has the ungodly task of having to bury her child, one of her youngest sons pretty soon. Have some class and show some respect. You don't have to like him to STILL show respect. He's gone now so there is no need for people to continue to be cruel.

i never believed the molestation charges anyway. its all parents egging their children on into lying about shit so they can get money. its ****** up, his life was difficult enough before all that. and i think it sucks more that the OP's parents wont get to see MJ than that they lost $3000 in that.

Everyone needs to STOP disrespecting Michael Jackson!!! RIP MJ he will be missed he was a ledgend. As 4 the author of this FML...sucks that u lost ur$$$ but don't be so selfish... respect the soul of MJ. you should frame the tickets and give them that as a gift it's priceless
