I'm hoping it was during the game at least?
That's only for theater, and even then, it's kind of falling out of favor. This is also why tricking your brother into saying "MacBeth" didn't work, either.
Well you told him to break a leg, never said whose leg though.
Apparently someone doesn't understand metaphor
I think this is why "break a leg" is traditionally used for theatre, rather than sports. Maybe if you had said "good luck," he wouldn't have taken it as a threat. In all seriousness, though, I hope you're okay. Get well soon.
As far as I know the break a leg is only a good luck saying in theater because saying good luck in theater is well bad luck.
was it at least an accident?
why do you and your brother attend different schools
Breakfast a leg is for theatre, not sports.

This is why I always tell rivals to "give me a million dollars" prior to playing against them. I've gotten the weirdest looks and people are starting to talk behind my back, but it'll be worth it once I'm rolling in dough!
Why do you and your brother attend different schools? You're obviously within the same age range if you're rivaling one another, so... What gives?
