Today, my car door and window were broken when a thief broke into my car. Cost to repair the damage? $600. Increase to my car insurance premiums? $40 a month. What'd they steal from my car? A $0.98 chocolate chip cookie. FML

seriously it would have been cheaper to have it fixed yourself. The typical car repair places that work with insuance companies jack up the prices. you probably could have had everthing fixed for $300. YDI and the cookie monster F'dYL.

The look on your face when you saw your car: priceless

Hey cookies feed the soul ..... So, there was a good reason behind it hehehehh for u that sucks

That shouldn't increase your insurance premium. It would be filed as a "comprehensive" (other than collision) claim, which is a no-fault claim, same as weather, fire, theft, etc. depending on the extent of the damage and your policy, you may be out your deductible, but that should be all.

better lose a cookie than something even more expensive like a phone or tablet

So your premium is going up but it doesn't cover all the damage?
