If he asked because he wanted sex or not doesn't really matter. If he knows your schedule he had to have cared at one point, and the cheating might have been an honest mistake. Should have given the lad a break.

How can cheating be "an honest mistake"? Not to mention that it's entirely possible she recently broke up with him, and she mentioned her period earlier.
