Today, my co-workers agreed that I was the one causing the elevator to be over its weight limit. When I protested, saying that I only weigh around 150 pounds, one asked me if that included the weight of my wheelchair. They made me get out. FML

Today, I was on the elevator going up to a meeting, and the elevator was getting more and more crowded as we went up. After about ten people got on, they all agreed that I should get off the elevator because they thought me being on was exceeding the weight limit. FML

Today, I got on an elevator with a woman and her child. I was the first one on. When she stepped on, the capacity alarm went off. As she left she told her daughter that's why fat people shouldn't be allowed in public. I'm 145 lbs. She was twice my size. I got called fat by a hippopotamus. FML

Today, two people at work - both higher up than me - called me out for "stomping" when I walk up stairs. I have a disability that causes this. We work at a place specifically for disabled people. FML

Today, we have elevators at my work, but you need to go to HR to get a key. I was denied one after I almost died in a car accident because I didn’t look “hurt enough.” FML

Today, I was at work at the airport. I got called up to a plane's cargo hold, and thought I'd finally learn how to use the loader. Turns out they just needed me to weigh something down, effectively making me ballast. Then my boss told me to get the hell off, after which I hit my head hard climbing out. FML

Today, I was taking the elevator down with a group of people. It stopped on the 2nd floor and I said "What asshole can't take the steps from the 2nd floor?" Then a kid in a wheelchair got on. FML

I don't like elevators but I agree, elevators are more for handicapped not the lazy people who "can't take the stairs because it will take to long" Ur co-workers are so rude for making u get out :( I hate people like this, who think they r the All Mighty God and think they can say and do whatever they think. Handicap people rule :) You DIDN'T deserve it!

... You know, you can probably sue them ... most elevators are in areas FOR WHEELCHAIRS! THAT WAS THEIR PURPOSE! So they can take the stairs if they like.

That's definitely a case for suing your coworkers for mistreatment of the handicapped. Bring it to your boss and of he or she doesn't do anything present it to a lawyer!
