It depends on the business if they give you an advance notice of you being let go... It would be cruel but perhaps your boss is going to give your job back as a wedding gift if he was invited...I wouldn't bet on it though
Hopefully the wedding goes well and the bills don't get overwhelming
At least you can have a very lengthy honeymoon
That's terrible, I hope you don't have to cancel the wedding. Good luck to you two love birds!
Don't jobs have severance check when they don't give you notice?
OP was only there for 3 months. You have to put in some serious time at the company to get any semblance of a severance package
I got a severance package from my last job, even though I only spent 2 months there.
at least you don't have to hurry back to work after the honeymoon.
That happened to a friend of mine but don't worry you'll get back on your feet soon
3 months isn't a very long time to be at a company. Maybe they just didn't like having you as an employee.
Vendor's are typically paid two weeks before the wedding... so technically should not have to fork out more cash at least. Enjoy your wedding and honeymoon and then come back refreshed and ready to start interviewing for new positions.
Congrats on the wedding. Sorry about the job.

Are they allowed to do that? I thought jobs had to give you notice.
Damn that's a lot of bills to pay without a job. FYL
