Art is very hit or miss. She COULD be rich and famous.. Or she could end up working in retail or fastfood to make ends meet. Science almost always guarantees you a job.

At least your doing what you love! I have a BA in Mathematics and my parents are always offering to pay for therapy sessions...if i need them.

For those of you who thought what the dad did was funny... here is a reality check... in this economy, she is going to have a job sooner than the daughter who is a science major. Why? Because in science fields, they always hire men first. I am not being sexist, just telling the truth.

It's because there are too many forensic science graduates for the jobs (there's 10 times too many) because of shows like csi
