Art is very hit or miss. She COULD be rich and famous.. Or she could end up working in retail or fastfood to make ends meet. Science almost always guarantees you a job.

BA in art is nothing to be proud of. Sorry to say it but there are loads of people graduating art and the earnings are low. To be honest the odds of OP becoming famous and actually making millions are drastically low.

It doesn't sound like he is proud of his art major daughter at all. It's like when people put a "My other car is a [expensive car]" stickers on their crap car. Basically it's saying "Hey don't judge me for how ****** up this is, I have something better and you just cant see it right now so I'm not a total failure" Instead of supporting his daughter on a very important day for her, he basically decided to say "My other daughter is better" in a very public, embarrassing and hurtful way.

hey don't sweat it art can get u way more money then being a science major depending on the work, so just blow him off and keep doing the career u want to do:)
