Today, my dad decided to clean out my car and "accidentally" threw away my $520 tax refund check. FML

If he kept it I doubt he'd be able to cash it if it has your name on it. If he really did "accidentally" throw it away I'd be "accidentally" making his ass dig through the trash and find it.

Why are there quotation marks around accidently? Was it on purpose?

Guys, maybe she and her dad are having an argument/ticked off at each other. Out of spite, the dad might have "accidentally" thrown away the check. I mean, it probably isn't the case here, but it's a possibility.

1) You shouldn't have such a messy car that your daddy has to clean it out for you 2) A McDonalds bag containing moldy french fries on the floor of your car is not a good place to keep money

Did y'all fail reading comprehension or something. Where does it say that the OP asked their dad to clean out their car, no it says the father DECIDED. Now IDK about y'all but I know decided means that someone did it on their own accord. Gahh, people are stupid. Also many people haven't gotten their tax refunds yet. People can file an extension on their taxes. Some people should have just not been born. OP: Aw, that sucks. Are you implying that you don't trust your Dad by putting accidentially in quotation marks? If so, that sucks harder. YLIF.

Direct deposit buddy, either way if he did throw it away contact IRS for them to cancel the check and reissue a new one

Why the hell would you keep a $520 check in your car? FYL for your dad cleaning out the car and throwing it out, but YDI for not keeping it in a safe place or depositing it immediately.

wtf do you mean "accidentaly" do you think hes out to get you? fyl up? FYL for being such a b!tch

Well look on the bright side. That's $520 less messing up your car, and somewhere out there, some bum is very, very happy.

I lost mine last year, but they sent me one back like a year later!! so hopefully you don't need it that bad. and at least you get it back!
