If she didn't do it behind his back and actually talked to him, this might not have happened. Who knows maybe she gets horrid grades and he didn't want her getting one until she proved she is responsible enough to get one. We don't know the details.

Kids are still going to go get tattoos at tattoo parties without being of legal age. But whether OP is 18 or not it doesn't matter, parents house equals parents rules. And I'm sure that if OP isn't 18 yet, daddy did buy that car for her which does entitle him to take it away if he sees fit. I am not just saying this because I am a mother but as a child/teenager, when I lived under my parents roof those were the rules for me and they will be that way with my children now. So for future reference OP, don't be so quick and sneaky to make decisions that stick with you for life, you never know what consequences will be waiting for you. YDI.

My dad is just like this. He told me if I ever get a tattoo he's going to take me out into the backyard and turn the garden hose on me until the tattoo comes off. I'm 23. ...On the other hand, he's 68. Old enough to be my grandpa. lol.

Something to look into: I worked at a costume warehouse one year and saw in the makeup section makeup that was good for covering tattoos. Why not cover it in makeup until you get your car back? And where is the tat? I have one on my upper arm where it is easily concealed.
