Today, my dad found out I got a tattoo behind his back and is really really upset. When I got home from work my car wasn't in the driveway. When I asked my dad where it was, he replied "you'll get it back when your tattoo comes off." FML

report the car as stolen. it's your body. unless it's not actually owned by you. then suck up & buy your own

Before I had a car in my name, my mother reported it stolen. I was 19 and left without her permission. Now I have a new car and my name is on the title, she can't legally do it. OP, if the car is in your name, FYL & take it to the cops. If not, YDI.

His house, his rules. My parents warned me if I ever did anything stupid like that (Tattoo, piercings other than my earlobes, dying my hair wild colors, etc) my ass would be kicked to the curb. Fair enough to me. I'm 21 now and I still go by their rules even though I don't live with them anymore....actually it's because I can't find a competent enough parlor to do my tattoo without ******* up.

The fact that you went behind his back indicates that you know how he feels about tattoos and you got one anyway which is stupid if he is still providing you with a car and a place to stay. Honestly him taking away one of those things is a very forseeable consequence YDI

Well considering she is living under HIS house, he has the right to tell her to do whatever the **** he wants. If OP is of age and doesn't like that, OP can get her freeloading ass out of his house and get her own place.
