u can tell he loves u
Don't go to college
Your dad needs some tough love. Remind him that going will make him a little less of an asshole, and you'll take that into consideration years from now when your constantly reminding him how much better your is than his ever was.
On that day, he would rather volunteer at his former workplace than attend your graduation. (He might even pay them.) Are you the valedictorian, salutatorian or otherwise speaking at the ceremony? If not, it's really a big waste of time for your family to suffer for three or four hours to see your 5 seconds of fame.
Agreed. My grad was boring as hell, and for some reason I was the only one who really didn't care whether anyone in my family came or not.
I know what you can do! Become President of the United States then don't invite him to the Inauguration. That will show him.
hes working at chippendale's so he can buy yhu a grad present.
Wow. I know my parents consider it an obligation to support their daughter (me) by both attending my graduation, enough to try to work things out enough to be at the same event for the first time in 6 years since their divorce. I'm sorry your father's an unsupportive jerk, OP. You can make it far in life without him.
