Return the shower head and use the refunded money plus some extra to buy a better one. One that you install yourself, since your father apparently couldn't be arsed to check if it was functioning correctly before leaving. Which makes him a shoddy handyman(or plumber, or craftsman, or whatever), to be honest. Any installation or replacement job shouldn't be considered complete until the new equipment has been tested under the conditions it will be used in.
are you sure it wasnt just your dads shitty fix up job?
cheap bastard.
my hubby always picks the cheapest too. this is why our toilet paper holder is duct taped to the wall and the tooth brush holder went into the trash as it wasn't designed to hold modern sized tooth brushes. heh.
Lol OP that's normal I have a shower head connected to another ( one you can hold and only that's installed to the wall) if I leave the second one on next time use it it explodes and hits my head
Probably not the removable shower head you were expecting ;)
I take my time with checking water before getting into shower.
At least you have great water pressure ? FYL.

I feel like he installed it poorly. Even if it's cheap I don't think that is normal to happen.
New shower heads can be painfully eager to make friends.
