Dude wtf?
um.."noname"..i noticed you have quite a few posts today..this one says you are a parent, and quite obviously over 22.. and the other says that your friends left you out of their spring break plans..which means you must still be in school..? and i believe the perm story was yours too..wow this day rly sucks for you if these are actually true
Kids These days
Abstinence: only 99% effective. Just look at Mary ;D
haha
ya 7th-9th cuz I'm 12 and in 8th
actually abstinence is not nearly 99% effective in fact studies have proven that its a bad idea because as a youth myself i know the vast majority of us are gonna have sex but devices such as the purity ring teach kids that condoms are bad and they dont receive a proper sex ed so your nice little Christian girl is at increased risk to sti's and pregnancy, apart from that i agree that its young but still come on what ages were ye when ye lost it?
My dance teacher said when she was in 6th grade a girl got pregnant. That's 12 at the oldest. And one time during lunch at the camp where I work during the summer, we got on the subject of teen pregnancy, and this dude said two girls in his 7th grade class got pregnant. TWO.
898 - I was taught abstinence. I'm 19. Not pregnant, no STDs. Amazing how that works, isn't it? Sure, plenty of kids are going to have sex no matter what their parents say, but saying that no parent should teach abstinence because it's impossible for kids to control their own genitals is rather ignorant.
912: They didn't say that abstinence was something noone could do, rather that if abstinence is all kids are told about, they don't know how to use a condom effectively, or about the upsides and downsides of various kinds of contraceptive pills, etc. Plenty of people abstain, plenty of people don't. Seriously, it's like teaching self-defence by saying 'just don't get into fights', rather than 'don't get into fights, but if it happens, here's how to deal with it'.
Abstinance is 100% effective (one immaculate conception notwithstanding). However, abstinance only schooling is not. I was 25 myself, but to each their own.
well if you don't have sex in the first place ( hence the term "abstinence") then they would not be pregnant. at the point they have sex, they are not abstinent.
8th grade.
Well...at least she talked to you about it?
#26, abstinence only teaching doesn't work. If you're told not to do something at that age, you just want to do it more.
That's not true if you're a good parent.
Uh, no. Abstinence only teaching doesn't give you any information about any alternatives - like, uh, how to have safe sex. What a good parent would do is talk to their kids about sex and educate them about not only WHAT it is, but HOW they feel about it. If you explain to a child the more emotional aspects of sex but let them know what the alternatives are, they may feel less inclined to go out there and explore it for themselves. If you withhold information from kids, they'll want to discover the truth for themselves, so they will go and try sex out because they don't know any better. What is needed is not to STOP kids from having sex, but to give them a healthy idea of what it all is about.
At #15-Sex was the FIRST thing on my mind at 13. Also, 22 year-old virgin? Lulz.
some people actually want to stay pure, and aren't ***** who have sex on their mind at 13 =P "Lulz." and to the OP, just talk to her about it..... she what happened. is she on her period yet or not?
Like i said to some one before having sex or thinking about it does not mean some ones a **** it's natural to have those feelings especially during puberty. I'm not saying it was right though. I do think it was immature.
no game at all.
Uhh... not wanting to have sex isn't a bad thing, but having sex young doesn't make you a ****, either. I'd be more inclined to believe this girl was uneducated than a "****". Actually, I'm pretty opposed to the word **** as a whole - it's like... okay, so we're not allowed to stay virgins or we're losers, so we have sex and are then shamed for it? **** that, man. It isn't anyone else's business who I sleep with, how often I sleep with anyone, or if I do it at all.
I completely agree.
i think you didn't fail. kids do what they want. you really cant control them. and isnt 22 a lil old?
Not if you don't wait until marriage.... And sex at 13 is disgusting. At least she isn't pregnant tho...
Keywords
13?.... damn....
omg stop her now before she turns into a raging ****
