Today, like every other day, my daughter thinks that degrading skinny people is very "non-conformist" and "edgy". This time, though, a slightly slim girl punched her in the face when she accused her of being anorexic. Now people think I gave my daughter her new black eye. FML

Today, I found out my 12 year old daughter is going through a bit of an "emotional" stage. I got a call from her school saying she was sitting in the corner at recess trying to cut her wrist. With a plastic spoon. FML

Today, I told my daughter that she won't be going to her homecoming dance as punishment for her terrible grades. She's been crying and singing "If I Die Young" in her room for hours. At this point, I don't know if I need to call a therapist or a vocal coach. FML

Today, I got a call from my daughter’s school. They found her on the roof, threatening to kill herself. I had to pretend to sound scared and sad over the phone, but in reality, the only emotion I could feel was extreme joy. FML

Well I wanna go emo but I can't bring my self. To cut my hair yet... It's just a way to stand out of the crowd and maybe even make people scared of them except their friends. Unless she Starts crying constantly and starts cutting herself, don't worry about it. I used to cut my self. My parents don't know but it's just a self conflict I like to think....

If she is listening to screamo/rock and dresses in black clothes oh well? Its her choice, my father and step mom thought i was emo then got over it because it was my choice to what i wear and listen to.. But if she starts cutting herself just take her somewhere to help her..
