what do u expect, the faggy emo kids came along and got rid of most of the goths, and believe me, goth is much better than emo, I was goth, and now I'm a veteran who's going to college with a kid on the way

Well, I mean, not necessarily. Oftentimes it's nobody's fault, just that the teenager needs to grow up a little. Turning emo is quite an extreme, and given the stereotypes, I would be worried too, but most likely it's just another phase.
