I would definitely have to agree that it's common courtesy, however I'm not sure how much help the police would be when they hear you say it was an elderly man blasting music and beating you up. And seeing as how you have no one to corroborate your story and he has a house full of people to back him up it makes it much harder. Sorry you have such nasty neighbors OP. :/
Let your elderly neighbor have fun! Don't be a party pooper! Join them.
Call the police. You were nice enough to try to talk. You can also file an assault report.
Project XCIII ?
Good job for him. You should be ashamed at trying to spoil people's fun because you don't have anything to do.
this is complete abuse! That is unacceptable behaviour and OP could call the police! And having fun is fine but they said it was very loud - OP actually went round and asked. They didn't just call the police or anything - I think OP did the right thing and the neighbour acted abusively!
I don't remember seeing that scene in "The Seventh Seal." Or was it "Wild Strawberries?"
The aint no party like an alcoholic party!
Usually, elderly neighbors are boring. You should have went over to join the party instead !
