Today, my family went out to dinner at a seafood restaurant. While we were eating our food, my grandma demanded to see the manager, and loudly complained that her fish was "too fishy". FML

they should have got rid of the smell.

There is a difference between good fish and bad fish though. Bad fish that isn't necessarily fresh can smell fishier than fresh fish.

this is actual a legitimate complaint, some fish when not prepared properly can have the salt water linger in the flavor

Well, I would complain too. Fish can taste too fishy, if it's an older cut of fish, or undercooked.

D D D. if it is a high end restaurant then the fish should be fresh. fresh fish does not taste "fishy". try not eating McDonalds fish filet sandwiches so often and stick to some good fish. Your granny is correct.
