FYL for having a moronic father. But does it really take an hour and a half to get "some groceries"? Unless, you live a very long way to town like me. It takes me about 50 minutes just to get into town... But, then again, I only go into town if it's desperate, not if I need a few items.
He just missed his car. That's all.
It can really take an hour and a half to buy groceries. As a woman, living on her own, I can take about an hour and a half to grocery shop for the month. The OP had to do it for more people. You compare prices, find what you want, and if someone is allergic to something, you check groceries. Even if you are quickly shopping, you get what is needed. A drive in itself can be half an hour or longer most places.
What is with all the negative comments? A lot of people take that long to shop for groceries. It is very normal. Someone's dad doesn't shop very often then or not at all for food.
Lol, OP I totally understand why you took so long to get groceries. OP is in Indiana, so there's a pretty good chance the nearest grocery store is 20 mins away. If so, I feel your pain, mine is 23 minutes away with no traffic.
It seriously takes you an hour and a half to get groceries? I'd be worried too.
Not everyone makes a beeline to the snack aisle to fill their cart and check out immediately.
