Today, my fiancé and I planned a romantic movie night. Champagne, popcorn, romantic comedy. Then his friend decided to show up and they've been talking about 1st generation Pokémon ever since. FML

That's just sad.. Pokémon in any generation is just as bad as dungeon and dragons, magic gathering cards, or even world of Warcraft. It's just sad that you thought you found the man of your dreams and now you have to start all over again..

Dear #94, I believe, and many others would too, that there are millions of people who play WoW, Pokemon, or collect Magic cards. Many people find them enjoyable, including me. When we are called "weird", the person saying so just sees the activity and never gives it a chance. Geek pride! (no, playing CoD doesn't count as being a geek or nerd).

It is indeed sad. A woman with absolutely no regard for her fiance's wellbeing. She even goes so far as to make him watch romantic commedies. I feel so sorry for the poor fellow. Good thing his buddy turned up for the rescue. True friendship like that is the only thing that keeps my faith in humanity intact.
