Today, my first girlfriend of over 3 years left me for another guy. She said she's looking for someone who can financially provide for her in the future. The dude owns a T-Mobile kiosk. I'm going to medical school. FML

I'm pre-med and let's face it: if you're just entering med school, you're gonna be broke for the next 7 years of your life. Just the reality of it. Some people, like your ex, are really short-sighted and don't realize the payoff in the long-run. It's good she left, anyway; you don't want a girl who's gonna dump you over money! What a gold-digger! Get a girl with class--and a bit more of a brain. Your kids will turn out smarter LOL

I created an account just to respond to this post. Don't worry you'll find someone that deserves you!!!

T-Mobile is blowin' up, man. Where have you been? Really though, she's obviously a moron. Be glad.

I say you ditch Med school and open up a Cell Phone Kiosk right next to his....

"A lot of guys who are "in med school" (or, studying business or accounting) are obviously not actually doctor material, just delusional." #110, I just have to ask; what the hell are you talking about? If you've already been accepted into medical school, you've demonstrated to a highly trained admissions committee that you have what it takes to become a competent physician. They don't take people who are kidding themselves; it's a competitive market, and very few people drop out of medical school. We're not talking about undergraduate dropouts; we're talking about a guy who I'm willing to assume actually got accepted into medical school.

Dude. FHL. She's now dating Kiosk-Boy.

#117, I agree, but delusional undergraduate dropout types will generally tell people that they are "in med school". We only have this guy's word for it. It's also quite possible that this guy really is in *real* med school, and the girlfriend wasn't patient. If you are eager to have babies, 7-10 years could be a long time to wait. Some people's biological clocks kick in really hard. Or she wanted an excuse and is a bad liar. There are a lot of possibilities here.

well she's dumb. you'll find someone smarter. seriously :)
