Today, my friend and I decided to wear a new red lipstick. The guy I like turned around, looked at her and said, "Red is a really interesting, sexy color. Pretty bold. Not bad." and he smiled. I waited, smiling also, only for him frown and say, "Your teeth are REALLY yellow." FML

Today, I was at a party with a few of my friends. We saw a guy walking around with bright pink lipstick all over his mouth, so we made a bet to see who could match the lipstick to the girl first. I won. It was my girlfriend's. FML

Today, I was taking a picture with my friend. Her camera can pick out a certain color and only have that color show up in the picture. She chose yellow because of the yellow on my dress. When she showed me the picture, the sash wasn't the only yellow thing; my teeth showed up, too. FML

Today, I was home alone, so for fun I put red lipstick on. A few minutes later, my doorbell rang. I managed to get it off before I got the door. I saw my neighbor, and had a long conversation with him. After which, I came inside and realized I had lipstick all over my teeth. FML

Wtf is with this guy? Does he think it's his job to give everyone feedback on their smiles? Who says to a girl out of no where that "Red is a really interesting, sexy color. Pretty bold. Not bad." and then immediately says to her friend that her "teeth are really yellow" ? Like seriously, BOTH of those comments seem inappropriate unless he's working for a modeling agency. awww yeah teeth can naturally be a kinda color between white and yellow.... But you can get crest whitening strips for about 25. They work really well as I've used them before.

All the people saying YDI need to remember that nothing makes teeth (even white healthy ones) look yellower than bright red lipstick. Just ask Cosmo. Also, some people just have teeth that stain easily. Ever since I got my braces off, my teeth stain from everything-- and I don't eat or drink anything that stains teeth on a regular basis. Turns out Listerine was staining my teeth, and since I stopped using it, it's only been a little bit better. So lighten up on the OP, guys.

Sorry, but some people have naturally greyish/yellowish tinged teeth,no matter how good care they take of them. So stop saying "brush your teeth". To be honest red lipstick DOES make your teeth look yellow. That's why you rarely see the average Jane wearing it. People with white teeth who can get away with it wear it. In any case, it was a very rude thing for that guy to say just like that - think how humiliated she must be...
