70, I took a Sociology: Marriage and the Family course last semester and that where I stumbled across that fact. It came to be true after surveys had been taken of all types of different couples. Lesbian couples had the highest success rate for intimacy, understanding, and overall lasting companionship. Sweetie, it's not bullshit :)

Whatever OP's girlfriend meant by "learning experience," it is ****** up and she led her on for two years. In two years you can get very emotionally attached and involved with another person. It is wrong to **** with someone's feelings like that. Besides, for her to go and say to her face it was a "learning experience" like she was some guinea pig is just wrong. Of course, any and every relationship is a learning experience, but from what the FML says it was an experiment for OP's douchebag of a "girlfriend." It is obviously more socially acceptable for women to be with other women, even if it is casual. For this reason, I know some lesbians tend to be cautious and want to make sure their significant others are really lesbian in order to avoid situations like this. Not only is the gay community bashed in many ways in the public media, they need to deal with scum bags like this who think it's "fun" to pretend to be lesbian. I'm sorry OP, hopefully you'll be able to let your guard down and fall in love with someone for real some day.
