Seems similar to how it is with my would be ex gf (if she had been my gf to begin with) and her family, the last time I was there, as I was leaving, her mom (who had NEVER spoken directly to me before) said bye and used my name. Certainly makes me wonder if her parents would actually prefer me over her s***hole of a bf.
